The Girls of Promise Conference, an annual program of WFA's Girls of Promise Initiative, exposes girls to opportunities and mentors in STEAM fields. The Girls of Promise initiative aims to enhance the representation of women in advanced STEAM courses and careers, thereby guiding them towards achieving economic stability. The Conference is created for 8th-grade girls interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math* in Arkansas! The girls learn about various STEAM careers, enhancing their skills, and meeting women mentors excelling in their fields.
**The "Arts" in STEAM focuses on creativity in STEM, instead of "fine arts" like painting, dance, or theater. No fine arts sessions will be offered at this conference.
Applications are due Sunday, February 23rd at 11:59 pm.

Conference will begin with a virtual kick-off on Thursday, April 3rd from 5:15-6:00pm ! Lunch is provided during conference.
